Wedding and Event Terms and Conditions
Little Botanica Ltd (‘Little Botanica’) has agreed to provide you with the Services as are detailed in your quotation document. The terms of the quotation document are deemed to be incorporated into this contract. No booking will be confirmed until this contract is signed and returned by you and you have paid the Deposit (see clause 3, below). The latest date by which this contract and the quotation document must be signed by you is 14 days prior to the Event Date, as stated in your quotation document.
Little Botanica will endeavour to make changes as requested to your flower order (as set out in the quotation document) if requested within 14 days of the Event Date but these changes cannot be guaranteed.
The cost of the Services is as set out in the quotation document. We will agree the cost of the Services with you in advance. However, Little Botanica reserves the right to revise any cost in the event of unforeseen or extenuating circumstances (e.g. where you alter your order within 14 days of the Event Date). The Client will be notified of any alteration to cost as soon as is reasonably practicable.
A non returnable £50 deposit is required to reserve the Event Date in Little Botanica’s diary. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the Services.
Payment of the deposit is required at the time of booking, together with the return of this signed contract by the Client. Where the Client fails to return the contract and/ or pay the deposit, Little Botanica will be under no obligation to provide the Services for the Event Date. Little Botanica will not be liable for any loss incurred by the Client where Little Botanica is subsequently unable to provide the Services on the Event Date due to the Client’s failure to comply with the terms of this clause.
If your Event Date changes, and Little Botanica is in a position to provide the Services on any proposed new Event Date, the Deposit (and any monies paid) will be transferred. However, where such a transfer is not possible, the Deposit will not be refunded.
Payment of the outstanding balance due on the Cost is to be made no later than 2 weeks in advance of the Event Date. Where the Client fails to pay the outstanding balance on time, Little Botanica will be under no obligation to provide the Services for the Event Date. Little Botanica will not be liable for any loss incurred by the Client where Little Botanica is subsequently unable to provide the Services on the Event Date due to the Client’s failure to comply with the terms of this clause.
Where the Client fails to pay the outstanding balance, Little Botanica reserves the right to charge the Client for any costs, expenses or outlays incurred as a result of this failure.
Any changes to your flower order after this time cannot be guaranteed, although Little Botanica will make every effort to accommodate your preferences.
In the unlikely event that the Little Botanica has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond control, (death, injury, sickness etc.), a full refund of all monies paid will be issued. Every effort will be made to help the Client find an alternative florist to complete the booking.
Should the Client cancel this contract, as compensation for loss of income for that day, the following charges apply as a percentage of the total fee due and will be due by the Client to Little Botanica.
Number of days before the wedding - Charge to Client
30 days or less - 100% of total booking cost
30-90 days - 50% of total booking cost
90+ days - Loss of deposit only
Where payment falls due to Little Botanica under this clause, it will be due within 28 days of the date upon which the Client notifies Little Botanica of the cancellation of this contract.
In addition to the Costs for the Services, the Client will also be liable to make payment of any travel costs incurred by Little Botanica. Travel costs are charged based on distance between Little Botanica and the Event Venue and expenditure required on any overnight stays required to complete your event. All Travel costs will be detailed in your quotation document.
Should the Client alter the Event Venue, notice should be given to Little Botanica immediately and at least 14 days before the Event Date. Little Botanica reserves the right to amend the Travel costs in such circumstances.
Little Botanica accept no responsibility for damages or incorrect set up of arrangements if the client chooses to collect or return items from/to our shop.
The Client hereby grants Little Botanica creative and artistic license in relation to the choice of flowers and materials used in providing the Services agreed in the quotation.
Whilst every effort is made to source products accordingly, and Little Botanica undertakes to supply specific flower varieties discussed at the time of booking (as will be confirmed in the quotation document). If any flowers or materials discussed are not available to order as at the Event Date, we reserve the right to substitute them with an appropriate replacement of our choice. Where possible, Little Botanica will seek to discuss any alternative arrangements to be made in advance of the Event Date.
Little Botanica cannot guarantee any specific shade, colour, size or shape of any variety of flowers due to natural variations in the flowers. However Little Botanica will endeavour to keep as close as possible to details in your quotation.
Damage and Breakages
Props, glassware or other items provided by Little Botanica in provision of the Services are on loan to the Client and remain the property of Little Botanica. The Client must return all such items (as will be detailed in the quotation document) to Little Botanica within an agreed timescale after the Event Date. The Client (and no other 3rd party, e.g. Event Venue) will be solely responsible for any loss or damage to Little Botanica’s property which must be replaced or paid for by the Client.
Where the Client provides its own props, glassware or materials to Little Botanica for the provision of the Services, it does so at its own risk. Although every care will be taken to protect such items, Little Botanica cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred during this time. Any breakages will be notified to the Client, who will have sole responsibility to repair or replace any damaged items at the the Client’s own expense.
Props, glassware or other items are on loan to you by Little Botanica and any loss or damage of these must be replaced or paid for by the client.
Little Botanica accepts no responsibility for damages or incorrect set up of arrangements if the client chooses to collect or return items from/to Little Botanica’s shop.
Little Botanica will do the utmost to preserve the Client’s confidentiality prior to the Event Date and no details of the Services will be provided to any 3rd party other than the Client unless prior written approval is provided by the Client or required by law.
The Client hereby agrees and acknowledges that, for promotional purposes, Little Botanica may exhibit the Client’s event photographs on its blog, website or other relevant websites, exhibitions, editorials, digital and print marketing as part of our portfolio, with permission from your photographer. Little Botanica acknowledges that the use of any such photographs will be under licence only and it will only use such photographs in accordance with the permission obtained by the copyright holder, together with any conditions attached to the same.
Once payment has been processed this is a confirmed booking. A £10 fee will be deducted if the attendee wishes to cancel a booking more than two weeks before the event. No refunds are offered for any cancellation within two weeks of the class.
Workshop Gift Vouchers
Terms above apply.
The purchased gift voucher is valid for one workshop only on one chosen date. Dates for each workshop are available while stocks last.
Gift Voucher is only valid on one of the three dates provided by Little Botanica.
Workshop capacity: 14 people. If the desired workshop is fully booked, the recipient has the option of another two dates to choose from.
Purchased tickets cannot be exchanged for any other workshop.
If any provision of this contract shall be held to be illegal or unenforceable in whole or in part such provision shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of this contract and the enforceability of the remainder of these terms shall not be affected.
This contract shall be governed by Scots’ law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.

ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS
All orders and Regular Delivery Service requests received are an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance by Little Botanica Limited (“Little Botanica”), and Little Botanica, and any of its personnel, reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to reject any order without giving reasons. In the event of rejection, we will refund or cancel any payments received in full, via the payment method used to place the order. Acceptance of your offer and completion of the contract between us only takes place when we start to process your order.
All of our flowers are specifically selected for your order, we do not hold a stock of flowers and therefore are unable to provide immediate delivery. We do not arrange your flowers in to bouquets, you will receive your flowers in market bunches in the quantity selected. This allows us to keep our prices below those of a traditional high street florist.
We currently delivery only to the Glasgow area regularly, further afield in Scotland is possible by prior arrangement, please contact us to discuss.
We are looking to partner with a courier to offer nationwide delivery to offer nationwide delivery soon. Alternatively you are welcome to collect your order from our workspace in Tradeston at a pre-arranged time.
The delivery costs are as follows regardless of the volume of flowers purchased:

£15 Zone 2 - G60, G61, G62, G64, G69-G77 PA1 - PA4
£25 Zone 3 - G78-G82, PA5-PA11, KA1-KA17
Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when prompted to enter ‘delivery address’ during checkout on the website, please ensure all information requested is entered correctly.
- Contact the us to let us know that you wish to cancel your order, or return or exchange a product by either:
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and order number specified in the subject line.
- If already received, package the item up and send it back to the seller within 14 days of letting us know that you want to cancel your order and return the product (we recommend you use a signed-for delivery service with proof of postage). Please note that you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the product
- As the seller’s payment agent, we will process the refund directly to your payment card, in no more than:
a. 14 days after the day the product is received by the seller; or
b. if earlier, 14 days after the date you provide evidence that you have returned the product to the seller; or
c. if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which you informed the seller or us (via Step 1 above) about your decision to cancel your order.
Delivery Dates and Times
You can order from the Little Flower Market 24 hours a day 7 days a week. At the moment all deliveries will be made throughout the day on a Wednesday. We will contact you the day before or on the date of delivery to advise of an approximate delivery time.
The cut off time for a Wednesday delivery is 6pm on the prior Friday. Orders placed after 6pm on a Friday will be delivered the following Wednesday (12 days later)
For example flowers ordered at 4pm on Friday 1st April will be delivered on Wednesday 6th April. Flowers ordered at 7pm on Friday the 1st April will be delivered on Wednesday 13th April.
Please understand that as we select flowers specifically for your order, we are unable to provide immediate or next day delivery. We do not hold a stock of flowers, all purchases are made to order.
We take special care to endeavour that deliveries are made within your nominated time slot and accordingly, it is your responsibility to ensure that an appropriate person is available at the delivery address at all times during the delivery slot. We may ask that an appropriate person signs for the goods on delivery. If no one is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods will be retained by us unless you have provided us with specific details of a nominated place to leave the goods. We will leave notification of delivery and will telephone to attempt to rearrange the delivery at your cost.
Please note adverse weather conditions or other events outside of our reasonable control may result in the occasional late or cancelled delivery. If that is the case we will endeavour to contact you as soon as we are able to in order to reschedule your delivery date. In any event below, our liability to you will be limited to the price of goods not delivered and the cost of delivery.
Should you fail to be present for your delivery we are entitled to charge you in full for an amount equal to the price of perishable items contained in your order and the cost of delivery.
In the event that you instruct us to leave a delivery unattended at your address we expressly disclaim all liability which may arise by virtue of the delivery being left unattended for a period of time. This includes but is not limited to theft, tampering, contamination and the result of any change in temperature. Flowers left unattended as instructed will be placed in a free standing plastic container which must be returned.
It is possible to arrange an advanced order and request a specific date of delivery in the future. Please contact us if you would like to arrange an order to be delivered at a future date. We will do our best to deliver on the nominated date, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Please be aware that pricing may change for advance orders as our flowers are purchased at a live auction meaning that pricing fluctuates.
Changes to the delivery address
If you need to change the delivery address you must contact us as soon as possible to advise of the new address. We reserve the right to restrict deliveries in certain areas, and this includes the right to eliminate certain areas from our delivery schedule altogether.
In the event that the goods delivered to you are incomplete or include incorrect goods, you must notify us promptly. You will not be charged for any incorrect goods or goods which you have not received. In any event our liability will be limited to the price of the goods not delivered or incorrectly delivered and the cost of delivery.
Changes to your order
If you wish to alter your order or regular flower delivery service subscription, please do so by contacting one of our team by email email@example.com or by telephone 0141 429 6062.
We'll always do our best to make last-minute changes for you, but we can only guarantee changes (including to the delivery address and in relation to card messages) where we receive not less than 36 hours notice.
Your cancellation rights
You can cancel single orders by giving us not more than 24 hours notice after the order is placed. In those circumstances a full refund will be given. If a lesser period of notice is given, we will only give a refund if we have not started preparation of your order at the time notice is given. Please contact one of the Little Botanica team by email on firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Regular Delivery Service
It is possible to arrange a regular flower delivery to your home, business or as a gift. However, At the moment this is not available to select this via our website. Please contact us directly to set this up: email@example.com or 0141 429 6062.
Our regular delivery service allows you to select the date for delivery of your first order, within our normal delivery parameters. Then you will be able to set up the frequency of recurrence with us directly. We will make every effort to satisfy your request, but this cannot always be guaranteed.
Regular Delivery Service Prices
The price for each order within the Regular Delivery Service is the price at the time that the service is set up. We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to raise our prices at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, price increases from our suppliers and partners. If we raise our prices, we will give our subscribers not less than 4 days notice before their next delivery and provide the option to cancel your subscription free of charge. If we receive no contact from you 72 hours prior to your requested delivery date, we will assume that the changes are accepted by you and your order will proceed as amended.
We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. In order to offer the best security, all our payments are processed securely by Stripe Inc.
For all subscriptions to the Regular Deliver Service, you may pay by credit or debit card or your first delivery only. For subsequent deliveries, you will be required to set up a direct debit agreement to allow payment to be received on a reoccurring basis prior to each agreed date of delivery.
We never store or have access to your credit or debit card details
Suspending or cancelling your regular delivery subscription
If you wish to change your Regular delivery subscription, please contact us via telephone or email. You can suspend or cancel a subscription at any time by giving not less than 36 hours notice before any nominated delivery date. Provided you have given us the specified notice, the suspension or cancellation will take effect without charge. In such circumstances, if your card has already been billed we will issue a full refund. Where notice is received after that time and we have been unable to make the requested changes, please note you will still receive and be charged for your next delivery (as we will have already started cutting your flowers), but your suspension instruction will only take effect for the number of times you select unless a cancellation request is received.
OUR RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
We will always select the best flowers available and package them with great care, they always leave us in perfect condition, and in good time.
Our flower orders are often sent out in bud form meaning they will last much longer.
Freshness and Damage
Our flowers are packed carefully to ensure they arrive as fresh and beautiful as when they left us. However, on occasions, and for reasons beyond our control, they may be damaged in transit. If you receive flowers that do not seem fresh or are damaged, please contact one of the team at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know.
Should you contact us to advise of damage or feel that your flowers are not fresh, We will, at our sole discretion, give you the choice of a free replacement at our next available delivery date, or a refund.
Please note that you will be required to email us a photo of the un-fresh or damaged flowers within 24 hours of receipt in order to be eligible for a refund. If we offer you a refund, we will refund you the full amount within 5 days. Please note that banks might take an additional 3-5 days to refund the amount to your card.
Colour and Variation
Flowers and plants are a natural product that are grown and nurtured by our selected growers. They are affected by climate and environment conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee the exact colour, shape or size of any particular flower, plant or other natural item. While we do our best to match the images on our website for each item, these must be considered a guide only.
While we take all appropriate steps to make sure our flowers are delivered, sometimes mistakes occur. If we fail to deliver your order i.e. if your flowers have not arrived within 3 days of their intended delivery date. We will, at our discretion, send you a free replacement on our next available delivery date, or we will refund you the full price of your order within 3 days. Please note that banks might take an additional 3-5 days to refund the amount on your card.
Please understand that due to the perishable nature of flowers, we are unable to accept returns.
FLOWER AVAILABILITY AND SUBSTITUTION
All floral products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties or if the flowers we have received from our growers do not meet our high quality standards, we reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to substitute any product with an alternate product of a similar style and equivalent (or greater) value and quality. If we are unable for any reason to make up a satisfactory replacement, We will contact you to offer compensation deemed relative by us to the value of the individual flower product.
OFFERS AND PROMOTION CODES
At our discretion, from time to time, we may offer products at discounted prices. These offers are valid from the time that we introduce them to the end date of the offer and they cannot be used for orders given before the offer introduction date or after the offer end date.
In the event that a customer has made an order and the price of the ordered product subsequently falls or is discounted owing to a special offer, the price of the product at the time of order shall prevail.
As our special offers are dependent on availability, we may change the terms of special offers, or withdraw them altogether, at any time, and without prior notice.
We also reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to offer different personalised special offers and promotions and it will therefore only be possible for the customer in receipt of the special offer to redeem the discount.
Discounts and credits cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
Unless otherwise stated, we only allow one promotion code to be used per order.
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Adverse weather conditions may prevent the delivery of orders by the time requested, or at all. In such circumstances we cannot accept any responsibility for late delivery and no refund or alternative delivery will be offered.
Little Botanica shall not be liable for late or non-delivery of any order if the delay or failure results from any of the following: (i) Acts of God, (ii) outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, (iii) the act of any government or authority (including refusal or revocation of any license or consent), (iv) fire, explosion, flood, fog or adverse weather, (v) power failure, failure of telecommunications lines, failure or breakdown of plant, machinery or vehicles, (vi) default of suppliers, sub-contractors or delivery partners, (vii) theft, malicious damage, strike, lock-out or industrial action of any kind, and (viii) any other cause or circumstance whatsoever beyond Little Botanica’s reasonable control. As we order direct from Holland please be aware that the above applies to the wider geographical area.
Save as hereinbefore provided, whilst we will do our utmost to ensure that the Little Botanica service is uninterrupted and error-free we cannot guarantee this and, therefore, accept no responsibility for any interruption of the Little Botanica service and shall be released from our obligations under these Terms and Conditions in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control which renders the provision of the Little Botanica service impossible or impractical.
Little Botanica will not be responsible for (i) losses that were not caused by any breach on our part, or (ii) any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure), or (iii) any indirect or consequential losses that were not foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using Little Botanica services.
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these conditions limits or excludes our responsibility for fraudulent representations made by us or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.
CUSTOMER AND RECIPIENT PERSONAL INFORMATION
It is very important that you provide accurate personal information during the checkout process as we use this information to handle and deliver orders, process payments, and communicate with you about orders, products, services and promotions.
During the checkout process, we ask for the following personal information:
Customer's email address
We use this information to provide a better customer experience by sending order confirmations, substitution information, dispatch confirmations and delivery confirmations. We will also use the customer's email for marketing communications from time to time. Please ensure that email addresses are accurate.
Customer's full name and address
We use this information for credit and debit card validation.
Customer's telephone number
We use this information to contact customers in the event of problems with the order such as payment failures or delivery issues.
Recipient's full name and address
We require this information in order to deliver the flowers you have ordered. It is vital that the recipient's address is accurate.
We reserve the right to supplement and amend the Terms and Conditions on which you are permitted access to the Little Botanica site and/or the Little Botanica service from time to time. We will post any changes on the Little Botanica site and it is your responsibility as a customer to review the Terms and Conditions on each occasion you access the Little Botanica service or website. Changes will be effective five (5) hours after the posting of any such change and all subsequent dealings between you and us shall be on the new Terms and Conditions.
Additionally, we reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate access to the Little Botanica website and/or Little Botanica services for any reason at any time. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction and notify you were this will affect any ongoing subscription.
These Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to include all other notices, policies, disclaimers and other terms contained in the Little Botanica website, provided that in the event of a conflict between any such other notices, policies, disclaimers and other terms, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. If any of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
In respect of fraudulent misrepresentation, this agreement (including any documents and instruments referred to herein) supersedes all prior representations, arrangements, understandings, and agreements between you and us (whether written or oral) and sets forth the entire agreement and understanding between you and us relating to the subject matter hereof.
Your purchase will be deemed to have occurred in the UK. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scots’ law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.

What we collect
When making a purchase from the website we may collect the following information: a) Name, b) Contact information including email address, c) Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests, d) Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers.
What we do with the information collected
We may use the information to improve our products and services.
This may include sending periodical promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting by using the email address which you have provided.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or post. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.
